About Orthodoxy

We invite you to experience the Orthodox Christian faith, "The Truth, the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth" about salvation in the Lord permeated with the love of Christ Jesus.

It is the life of Christ in and through the Orthodox Church which is the same "yesterday, today and forever." We, His sons, "hold these truths in earthen vessels." Yet we set forth the faith before those who search for the wholeness of life in Christ. As St. Gregory of Nyssa wrote "He who knows, in search of those who desire to know."

You are invited to discover for yourself the experience of sharing the joy of the Lord set forth before you like a regal banquet feast. The Orthodox Church has guarded, preserved and treasured the fullness of the faith handed on to it from Pentecost.

The Orthodox faith cannot be distorted, compromised, watered down or made to accommodate the so-called needs of the times, or adapted to a more relevant life setting. However, it goes on offering Christ's invitation to all who are in earnest about accepting His invitation once given to Sts. John and Andrew to "come and see" the meaning of following Him to His Father's Kingdom and working out their own salvation on the way.

The Orthodox Church cannot and will not compromise with radical authoritarianism expressed in papacy on the one hand, nor the extremes of individual autonomy in the various forms of Protestantism on the other--but it opens the doors of the True Church and points to the arms of the Lord Who welcomes and receives all who surrender themselves without reservation to Him.

It is yours to discover. May the Holy Spirit lead you to realize the feeling of having come home to Christ. "Come and see....".
